not a single person will argue that. still does not make for an easy to win lawsuit in any stretch of the imagination.

as far as the track itself, from my experience you sign waivers.

only time will tell though.

Absolutely and what kind of idiot parks that close to the track?

That's like letting your kids play in the sand on Turn 1 at Laguna Seca.

Not sure. Because normally I would tell the driver to keep going(at about 10-15mph) and head for pitlane.

if the evo only went into a wall solo it could be done. with this video and the plates off all the cars visible the above [insurance fraud] would result is fines over the value of the cars along with possible jail time. in no way worth it.

hey, racing is a risk. though there is racing insurance i believe, at least for your body.

No doubt. I would have backhanded her for grabbing the wheel. I don't care who she is, you don't grab the wheel from the passenger seat.

Was this some private track day? It makes no sense that the cars are parked that close to the track, especially with no barrier.

That's a really unsafe place to stage. I'm suprised they haven't had more issues.

Most tracks (ie all that I've been on) make you sign a waiver. However, I know that a good attorney can still help. I'm willing to bet everyone is fawked. I would be so pissed if that was my car staged and then someone comes along and destroys it. Those are some of the risks you take at the track which explains why I'm building my SE-R beater to whore out rather than contine to track my STi.

Remind me to NEVER go to Panoma.

I'll stick with MSR, TWS and Hallet TYVFM.

i am sure the owners of the nsx and g35 are more intelligent than that. beating down the evo owner would only cost them more money.... lol

It was where they were having people stage to go out for time trials at Pocono this weekend.

I got up there and saw the cars on Sunday and I was like "WTF!"

We had problems with all 3 of our formula cars. Only Andy and his Aspire did okay.

We had all of our trucks and trailers parked beside those cars all day. I'm sure the Evo and Infinity were both dailys from their interiors. None of them had cages and all 3 had full interior.

I don't think anyone will get any money out of it. The track has you sign waivers so they won't be a fault for having them stage there, and they were racing so they can't expect the Evo's insurance to cover their cars.

Accidents are a part of racing, hence why I don't race my daily driver.

Mostly hookspin incidents. I've seen this happen to an ITR once..but because we had barriers no cars got damaged except for his and the wall.

Sorry forgot.

Please Do Not Post...
any video clips regarding the accident between the EVO, NSX and G35 at POcono Raceway 05/06/06

The NSX is my Cousins and the G35 is my friends

any materials may hamper their lawsuit. Thank you for your support

Thats what the guy posted. Apparently they are trying to commet insurance fraud or something like that.

Edit:

The mods locked the thread too hah! I guess they want them to get away with their insurance fraud.
