where can i get a set of these "loaded calipers" and if i cant, what parts do i need to make my own? this seems like a pretty legit setup to get. grab some nice rotors and pads with these new calipers and i should be good to go.

I've done the rotor over hub upgrade and the larger rotor upgrade to my car and many customers. As stated earlier the number on the bracket refers to the thickness in MM of the rotor . i.e 23T brackets fit over 23mm rotors correctly. Accord V6's and wagons use 25t brackets. VTEC Preludes and Type-R integras use 23t brackets. So if you use those calipers then use their respective rotors. Dont use the legend dual piston calipers despite what people tell you. The only way to mount them is inverse and this is detrimental to their effectiveness.
And for those of you that do not know when you order a fully loaded caliper you are getting the caliper and the bracket. Semi-loaded calipers are cheaper and do not come with the bracket Also note that many of these calipers are remaned and the parts places have a tendency to mix and match brackets. So be sure to check in the corner of the bracket for the number and make sure it's correct.

Have you done the prelude vtec/itr caliper upgrade also? I have a 94 accord ex and I just added 98-99 CL hubs, prelude vtec/ itr calipers and rotors, and now the brake pedal is really soft. It works, and stops well, but it is really squishy. I have read a bit around and the closest I have found is maybe some sort of integra 40/40 proportioning valve, but no one it seems has actually done this. Also, it doesn't seem like everyone has this problem. I apologize for bringing this port back, but I would really like to know if anyone has any more info.
thanks |

15" wheels or larger and why not just swap the whole V6 knuckle with everything on it? it's A LOT FASTER and it works

I just did what seemed like what a lot of other people have already done. The 15" wheels are a must, because there is VERY little clearance between the rim and caliper. I guess I was just wondering if anyone else has had this problem and how they fixed it...

i am planning to do the gs dual piston upgrade on my 94 accord ex. i got a couple questions reguarding, brackets size and rotors being used. Is the 98 accord ex v6 rotor the same size(mm) as the 95-97 accord v6( Excluding 4-lugs to 5lugs comparisons).I heard they were both 11 inches. I have a pair of 98 accord v6 brackets with imprint of 23T. While im was reading this thread everybody says that the 95-97 accord v6 have 25T brackets. If they use the same size rotor, why is the bracket different. Isn't the 6th gen accord v6 suppose to be a upgrade from the previous model?Could it be possible to use GS dual-piston calipers and 23T brackets with 95-97 accord v6 rotors or would i have clearance problems?

Yes the 98-02 v6 rotors have the same 11" size as the 95-97 v6 but the 98-02 are 5 lug and rotor over hub style. If you are looking for an 11" rotor that will work with a rotor over hub conversion you can use the 92-96 Prelude VTEC rotors. That is what we do for our 94-97 Wagon rotor over hub kits.
