Good day in the garage, today. It's still a shell, but its a better shell. Engine and wiring harness are closer to being useful. Front end and steering are rebuilt. Rear fenders rolled (with a BFH) for 225s. Fuel tank leak fixed, didn't have to empty a single fire extinguisher. Accidentally welded firewall hole for the speedo cable. Guess I won't be running the stock IP after all.
Weld, grind and paint engine bay tomorrow... Thanks to: • Aaron Bonk: engine stuff • Sador Bota: rear fenders, rear susp., engine mounts • Brandon: block off plate fab, Bota help, showing up to help a guy he's never met • Rich Hayes: Steering rack, lower ball joints, fuel tank advise • Doug Macmillan: wiring/ECU, OBD-this, OBD-that • Kurt Niebuhr: Grinding, metal fab, killer photos • My wife: putting up with me and all this race car stuff
