Z6 has the best sohc head. A6 has steel main caps, Z6 has a full aluminum girdle instead. Both have cross-drilled cranks, unlike Y7/Y8 cranks.

I'm curious why you're asking about sohc's in the dohc thread?

Wow, I never saw this thread before! BFTD!!! I want to see some more boosted ZC setups!

Mine isn't boosted yet. Its running, but I'm trying to work out some kinks before I continue building it.

(I just realized that I don't have any pics of the assembled bottom end...)

Endyn 9:1 Rollerwave pistons
Eagle H beam rods
ARP head studs
Golden Eagle blockguard
12 lb Exedy lightened flywheel

I'm going to build it in stages, next is the head. I'm considering going with oversize valves, but definitely P&P, reworking the chambers, and some turbo cams. I already have the JG dual springs and the JG adjustable cam gears. I'm just too poor, and I want to do it right so its going to take a little while to collect the parts.

I'm wanting to make the car useable for every situation possible, but I want it to be a road course car more than anything. I want to see some different turbo sizes and dyno graphs to go with them!!!
