Damn Liam821! I can't wait to see the new graph on that sick setup. We have yet to put my built block together Should be done by winter time and hoping for about 350+ on 18lbs-20lbs on pump gas. Should be good for low 11's to high 10's in my little crx.

same here. I'm shooting for $325-350wheel.

I'm still debating on which pistons to run. HKS gasket, Rods and ARP's are here already.
What pistons are you running Lurker and Liam?

I run race engineering spec Wiseco pistons. They are 9:1 compression made for a dohc zc. Dont run z6/y8 pistons, they arnt really made for our motors.

If i was to do it again, i would ask Endyn for some 9.5:1 - 10:1 turbo rollerwave dohc ZC pistons.

You wouldn't run a Z6 piston even if you got the CR you wanted?

Well a 9:1 z6 pistons is like 7.8:1 if you put it in a ZC. So you need to run like a 11:1 z6 pistons to get a compression thats usable. The problem with that is, a 11:1 piston isnt designed for boost, its most likely an all motor piston. All motor pistons are normally lighter, higher ring lands, and have other things which make them different then turbo pistons. Just not as strong.

Yeah, the highest I found for the Z6 that wasn't just an N/A was the 10.5:1. I also spoke to Endyne about the rollerwaves as well that are.5 over.

Right now im on the stock 86-87 d16a1 piston and rods. On the built block im going with supertech d16z6 10:5:1 compression pistons and golden eagle rods. I didn't want to wait for wiesco to make me a set, plus I love supertech's quality.

Use the HKS beaded head gasket

Im on the OEM right now making 300whp but I have sprayed it with copper gasket sealer. The OEM is made of paper and will give out easy under high boost. If your built just go with the HKS gasket and save urself some time and money. Only reason im not running the HKS right now is cuz I didn't want to spend anymore money on the stock motor.

I use CP pistons from D16A6 cr11 and they are ok, much stronger than stock. With HKS head gaskek i would have cr 10, isn't it to much? with oem 9.7. A lot of people said that oem gasket will hold if its tune right, is it true?

Even less than that. I don't think I got more than 30 miles out of it before it blew. Then it spun a bearing cause of all the shit that fell into the oil passage.

I HATE fiber gaskets.

I hope it works out for ya, but I would definetly look into an all metal if you can afford it.

I know that oem CR in ZC is 9.5 but head was milled about 0.3mm and CP pistos have a litte diferent volume so now i have about 9.7. Maybe i buy HKS, cr 10 is still ok for turbo.
