That's 100% correct except that each cover has different bolt holes and bolt locations for various accessory mounting.

I just did my valve cover gold, really liked the color, but I smudged and chipped it when putting it on. my friend had an extra one so I'm in the process of shaving that one and doing that one will post pics when I am finished.
