Finally tried Shining Monkey! wow...
So i've been itching to use this stuff, after i saw it on mtv last year.
I finally decided to try it out and see whats up...
God Dayum!! I have never used stuff that made my car look so deep and shiney before, i was like wowwwww! not to mention, i dedicated the entire day on sunday to use this stuff... It was so easy to go on and come off i was done within half the day.
I wish i had a digi so i could show you before and after shots of it. One of my friends has an IS and is on IS300.net all the time, he showed me on that forum how those guys love the stuff and now after trying it I have to admit it really is the best stuff ive used.
Just so everyone know, ive been a long time advocate for Zaino and Klasse...
I use Meguirs sometimes when in an emergency and walmart is to the rescue but the difference in this monkey **** and the other stuff i ve used over the years.... wow, thats all i gotta say about that!
Im sold -
I got the ultimate kit from them it had everything on their site...
If you guys want i can write a review on each one of the products, i am super picky so here are my favorites from the kit...
1. carnuaba wax
2. tire shine
3. hand glaze
4. metal polish
5. fabric protector
im in the 305/954 if any of you photo guys wanna take a couple pictures for me for the site... HOLLLA
<-- i found this on their site, has anyone ever seen it run ?!!!?? monkey on the hood is fresh!

I just ordered my kit the other day, should be here anytime. I got the idea from the Team Emotion website and the stickers plastered all over their cars (who said stickers aren't functional) They have a link to Shining Monkey on their website. Looked good and the price is reasonable so I placed an order.

Re: Finally tried Shining Monkey! wow... (el es vtec)
Jason from Tunerzine personally knows the owner of this company... he was supposed to get me some samples to try out but he never did
Anyhow I was looking at their site and they seem more geared towards consumers and the tuner market. They offer a product containing P.T.F.E. (aka Teflon) which makes me question their credibility. It is a widely known fact in the detailing industry that Teflon has to be applied at a rediculously high temperature (something like 600F) to bond to paint - in other words, Teflon in your polish does nothing. It's purely marketing hype.
Also a lot of the guys at car shows don't know a single thing about detailing cars - they just the stuff because they're "sponsored" by the manufacturer, who gives them free product for putting a sticker on their window so they get more exposure. Apparently it's working
With that being said, I'm glad you found something you like, but as always, tpiwwp Well, ones of your car at least
I need to get Jason to get me some of this stuff to try out...

Yeah, you can.t be self applying tire shine. Even if it gets a little messy for the one applying it. Plus, it doesn't get all over your wheels.

It looks good, but i'd like to know how long shining monkey lasts. Looks like my Gold Class wax, which only lasts about a month...
