You have to go to an Acura dealer and they will be able to give you the code when you give them the serial number.
Also keep in mind that Acura is known to put the radio code on a sticker, place in an odd location of your car, such as the trunk, glovebox, etc. Furthermore, you don't have to remove the head unit in order to find out its serial number. Just follow the instructions below: <TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote »</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">RETRIEVING THE AUDIO UNIT SERIAL NUMBER To reduce warranty and customer costs whenever an anti-theft code is lost, the audio unit’s serial number can be retrieved without having to remove the unit. To recall the serial number, follow these steps: 1. Turn the ignition switch to the accessory (I) position. 2. Turn on the audio unit. Make sure “CODE” appears on the display. 3. Turn off the audio unit. 4. Press and hold the number 1 and number 6 preset buttons at the same time, and then turn on the unit. The serial number will appear in two parts – the first four digits followed by the last four digits, and then the sequence will repeat. 5. Enter these eight digits into DCS to retrieve the antitheft code. NOTE: If you happen to compare the serial number on the audio system’s chassis sticker to the displayed serial number, you will find the first two digits do not match. The serial number on the sticker begins with two alpha characters. When doing an inquiry on DCS, always use “30” followed by the six-digit serial number.</TD></TR></TABLE>

Looks like it should be 45263. Give that a try and let me know if it works for you.

Yesterday, I had to switch my car battery, I own a 1996 TL 3.2. Before I relized it reset. But when I took out the head unit I only came up with a 10-digit serial unlike everybody else who has 12-digits.
SS#94A110956 Did I miss something does It have to be 10 digits. Any help would be appreciated. Trying to get my radio working again. |

I'll get the code for you on Monday. Honda's database is unavailable during certain hours (sat evenings and sundays) The number of digits varies from one model to another, I think the ones you provided will work fine.

Man, I can't seem to get 21414 to work. Is there something that I might be doing wrong? The S/N I gave you before was from the bottom of the CD Player part of the radio. Is this the right spot?
