I didn't find the pipe dope in time unfortunately, my pump didn't bother to last long enough to need it

I'll be using it with this though

This I can take some pictures of tonight. If I remember correctly I used grade-8 1" (shank diameter) bolt with a self stopping tapered nut (so it won't untorque on its own) and a set of M24 metric washers, to load the bearing.

Weather in Calgary is really off and on.. we get warm fronts (known as chinooks) during the winter months that fluctuate the temperature from -20F to +60F. Car is immobile at the moment. Waiting on a paycheck or two for some new toys.. electric water pump and fuel pump specifically

i just looked through 15 pages. VERY very nice work. i hope that everything works out for you. good choice with the aeromotive fuel pump, i've heard very good things about their products.

as for the talk about twin engines, whoever spoke against it was just inappropriately regurgitating information that they read somewhere else. i know this because i remember reading about the project in which that came up. it was a person that wanted to put two motorcycle engines (hyabusas, i believe) into a car. the huge difference is that this person wanted on engine to power each wheel, in which case the engines really would have to be absolutely identical in order for the car to function properly. i think that even if you throw a single-cam in the front it would be a huge difference.

whatever you decide, i'll be stoked to read more. keep up the good work and top-notch fabrication.

It doesn't cost as much as you might think, especially since he's doing all his own work. I know guys who spend $150/week on paintball, and I'm building my mid-engine Mini on roughly half that a week.
