First time polising rims. What brand of palm sander should I use if I am using it just to polish my rims? I saw a few on Ebay going for $15-$20 bucks, PALM GRIP ORBITAL SANDER 58414. I wonder will they be okay to use to use for my rims. Here's a link to the palm sander and let me know what you guys think since I am just using it probably once and never again. Also, is there a package deal for sand paper 150, 220, 320, 400, 600, 800, 1500 grits? What brand of sand paper should I use? Thanks

Any one else besides me do GT3's or Gabs. Mine were a pain in the ass so I just polished the surface and left the insides rough. If you have em, post some pics.

hey guys, i just traded my enkies for some si wheels, the wheels are kind of jack up a little bit, i just had 4 new tires mounted on them. but my point is that i want to polish the wheel si. wanted to know if i can polish the wheels while the tires are on the rim. dont want to spend $$$ unmounting and remounting them on plus balacing too.
thanks |

yea man, that looks good. i just started one of my blades a few days ago. it is super hard to get in the small crevaces, mainly the corners next to the blades on the outside of the wheels. anyone find an easy way to get those spots?

do not sand your rims with a palm sander, there are two many curves and you will gouge something.

yup... either use yur acutally palm. or use a 3m rubber block... and take all the paint off with aircraft stripper. then sand it untill its as smooth as u want... then primer. and if its not smooth then... wetsand it 800 or sumthn. and then spray yur otehr and then clear.
