Default My Project R Honda Challenge H1 K20 Powered Build from start to finish w/rulebook in hand

*****Update again on 07/07/06******

So lately I have been kind of lagging on my racecar but i did pick up some new goodies. See the photos below. The car needs to go get caged the fuel cell will be here in the next few days. I would like to give a huge thanks to Recaro NA for providing me with a wonderful racing shell and mackin industires for providing the wheels. The car also got new doors (the ones that came with it were pretty beat up) and I also picked up a US Phoenix yellow front end for it!

*****Update*****

Car is here at work now to get the engine fitted and the header built. After this it will be travelling to it's new home Church Automotive Testing. Thanks Shawn for helping me out it's greatly appreciated I will be in touch soon. It will also be going to L//con engineering in placentia to get the cage built really really soon.

Let me preface these pictures by saying, having a street car in orange county sucks if i could have all my money back from pointless exhaust tickets i could have built a couple race cars by now

Anyways I'm building this 2001 Acura Integra Type R to be Ran in NASA Honda Challenge and in some NASA Enduro Events. The car will be powered by a k-unit which means its gotta weigh 2350 but i'm ok with that.

Anyways im gonna post pictures of every portion of the build, some of you know i have been waiting over 2-1/2 months for the car to get here (issues with first shipping company). It's finally here and i got to clean it up this weekend i was so happy still needs an outside washing but no hose spicket where the car is stored

The first part of the build will consist of a roll cage (probably 8 point w/door bars) with fuel cell mounting. The cage will be done by Louie @ L-con Race Car engineering and fabrication.

subscribed, ****ing awesome I always wanted to see someone put air jacks in a street car =P j/p well you know what I mean. Are you going to do a 4 point system or 3 point system with the air jacks, as in two in front and one where the rear tow hook is?
