Default Yeah, go ss autochrome!!!!

I wonder if these manifolds are soposed to do this?

d16z6@10ish psi it would creep up to around 15psi or so because as you can see there is a huge piece of metal blocking half the wastegate port.

funny how the part of the manifold that broke wasnt even the part we were trying to break. we pulled and pulled on the mani and kicked it a few times and it didnt break, but then while driving the whole ****in wastegate fell off

lol, I give it props for lasting that long!

hell, just looking at it makes me think you were driving in salt water the past 6months. you sure did beat the piss out of it, that much is definitely for sure.

not sure on the turbo size, its just a t3 off of a sabb. prolly has around 100k+miles on it with no rebuild.
got a nuekin manifold on its way, should be here on friday.
the civic has a weird setup, $100 turbo, $200 intercooler, $1000+ engine management, now $600 manifold. ran it untuned with no engine management for a while, then only reason the motor didnt blow is cuz we took out the primary o2 to make it run really rich. still somehow even with around 200k miles on the motor, running 10psi untuned for about 3 months, beating the shit out of it during that time, driving around in circles to make the oil light come on, driving for a few miles a few times after the oil drain plug came out and drained all the oil being in 3 different cars, one that flipped a few times, no rebuild, the engine still has really good compresion. And this car has had no real problems. Its getting a new turbo and new built motor
now my gsr that has a very expensive setup, is babied, never ran untuned, has about 50k on it, rarely drive it, has had alot of problems....go figure

I don't like SS autochrome products, but why would you intentionally try to break it?

we kinda did it out of bordom i guess. held up well to the torture, but the wastegate was never abused, so it still should have never broken
