Default HID retrofit club

PM me for your number if you have a retrofit.

Edit - 27 Nov. 2007 This thread now has a new home in the Lighting forum.

Edit - 21 Dec. 2008 I'm making this thread a sticky, and also adding the member list here in the first post.

Yeah so I started this thing last week. Right now we only have 2 members, me and juicyfn. If you want to join send me a PM

Of course you have to have retrofitted OEM HID projector headlights into your stock headlight housings.

Also please post up pics of your retrofit here in this thread before sending me a PM.

considering that you made a club for it, im guessing it was ahuge hassle retrofitting this setup?

its something id like to do when i have the more pressing mechanical work out of the way.

um probably never, 3 little lines aren't going to affect the beam pattern enough to tell. The projector being far back from the lens has more of an effect on the beam pattern than those lines do. I really don't care to expend the effort to remove 3 lines and possibly ruin the lens.

Why are you guys still using the hologen lense?
When you install HID projectors, you need a clear lense. Not a housing with those lines. Like the one for the DA. It's just going to through the cutoff out of wack.
Cjsls knows what he's talking about.

the stock lense and clear lense for the integra (lowbeam part) arent much different. the stock lense just has three lines but the rest is clear. now it would make sense if the lense (liek the da) is fluted then it would be smarter to use clear lense. the three lines dont do much on the cutoff or the beam pattern for the dc after an oem hid retrofit.
