Default Drove it there on street tires and trailered it home on slicks....

I told myself this is a street car. It will drive there and the only way it wasn't driving home was if it broke. Oh well. Sorry the vids are kinda dark. I forgot to turn on the back lighting on the camera.

<FONT COLOR="red">Update: I got some time to pull the tranny. The final drive said adios I don't like you I think your gross.

I have not really even looked at it. When I was under the car at the track last night, the axles looked fine. I will pull it this week and see.

The slicks were brand new and over 16 psi of pressure in them. The tranny felt fine after that. It was not until the launch that sheit hit the fan. I agree, dry hopping it very bad, but the trans didn't break at that point.

I seen a man get shot in the face one time.. He didnt die right way, but just suffered in the hospial till he withered away an died 4 hours later. Imagine gettin shot i the face again after that (liek your tranny) and expecting to live

That's a better answer. It is possible that is what killed the trans/drivetrain.

Hey man, im not trying to take a personal shot at ya or anything, and i dont think i know everything, but i have seen trannys in the harshest conditions. The true answer of when it was shot will never be known...Its probably one thing you will not wanna do gain, thats all, ya kno?

I agree man. That was my first time on 26s. I still need to pull it to find out what failed.

On the street tire note, I think with some good drag radials and staying on the throttle next time I will be hunting down that fastestfwdstreet record.

Can someone tell me what is 'dry hopped' Look as though dumping the clutch with 26" is most prob gonna kill any tranny. or axle.
