About the Knock sensor, yes, you'll have to add wires from the sensor to the ECU pin out. And about the P/S, for my H22 swap, all I did was grab me a 97+ Prelude P/S Bracket to retain my stock p/s pump and line. That was all. Just the bracket and everything will mount into places. I'm not sure about the crank sensor. I don't think it'll matter because my H22 is a OBD2('96 Motor) engine, and I used my OBD1 F22 harness with no problems whatsoever.
If he gets a p28 ecu, he will not need the knock sensor because p28 don't come with them.

Thanks Nus_dogg,Ill tell him to pick up a 97 P/s bracket. On your swap was your car obd2 or obd1. It sounds like you used a obd 1 distributor and a obd1 computer with your obd1 f22 harness. Am I correct on what you did,I am also assuming that your car was obd1 from the factory.

The distributor was original(OBD2) and came with the motor, so I didn't touch it at all. Everything was plug and play.

Make sure you have a backup plan or two for that p/s pump bracket. Apparently they're hard to find and the dealers dont even stock them anymore.
GL and dont forget to post up the end result of the swap

Wait, so you're saying that your JDM H23A Distributor don't fit? Are you talking about the H23A VTEC or Non VTEC?

What year is the H23? Might be due to OBD 1 or 2.

One of my buddy has the same problem too. He swapped in a JDM H23A VTEC into his 97-01 prelude and the only problem he has is the distributor plugs just like yours.
What he did though was used a H22 distributor which I believe should plug right into the stock harness. Try that.
