Default ECU Code P29

Hey guys...
i have one question to do...i ask to many people but never found an answer correctly...
Usually i found in engines (b16A2) p30 ecu code or p28....someone told me the difference is in chip...its more fast to process the information of ECU...

now...i have in my car an P29 ECU...i never found the specifications of this ECU or the original engine of them...
the car redline is in 8500rpm like usual and have a HP normal...

thanks

Someone doesn't know what they are talking about. It's not that kind of computer.

thanks about the information...

i try search in google, but i donīt believe that my ECU comes in D16 motors....
i say that because D motors redlline, like you show in this information is in 7200rpm and Fuel/Air information is diferente in D16 or B16....i think that if it is possible, mar car works bad but not..my ECU works in a B16a2 engine, without chip and redline is in 8500 rpm (8200 motor)...and car works very well.

someone with some theory?.

thanks...

Someone answered your question here as well. http://www.civic-eg.com/viewtopic.ph...74da4e83944a7c
Possibly you don't like the answers you are getting but nothing I've read any where says that redline is 8500.

Possibly it's been altered. I have no idea what was done to your ECU but if it redlines at 8500 it's not stock.

I don't know what the big deal is anyway. If it redlines to 8.5k and nothing is wrong why are you questioning it? Ever heard the saying about the gift horse?

its not a problem, but i stay curious, because in portugal, everyone have P28 and P30 ECU in B16 engine...i never see in portugal no one with my ECU...and i talk with some people and never answer me because they donīt know too..

only one person answer to me and say that ECU is the Sir II ECU...

i resolve to ask this in an international forum to see if the answer is the same...

like i told my ECU is not chiped...comes with car when i buy it and i never does anything to ECU...

sorry the persistance.

thanks for answer
