Default e3 spark plug followup(stay away from e3`s pics inside)

stay away from these plugs. we was discussing them one time in this thread https://honda-tech.com/forums/honda-civic-del-sol-1992-2000-1/anybody-use-e3-spark-plugs-2581305/ . the plugs was doing fine at first but look what i found 7000 miles later. i included my plugs and what a good e3 should look like. Stick to ngk v power. I am running a msd ignition but no way they should melt like that. Hard to believe the car still ran but with reduced power. The msd kept the engine running because of its bigger gap capabilities. When i put the ngk vpower sparks in i got all my power back. And to think i started thinking i lost a bunch of compression

I'm always skeptical of any plug that claims to increase power. If anything all those plugs do is shroud the spark from the combustion chamber. (same with the bosch +2 and +4 crap...)
Glad nothing bad happened to your engine.
POS plugs.

one could argue i had preignition. but im tuned on crome. and i have a lambada hooked up to constantly monitor the air fuel ratios and they been fine. the metal is out of the combustion chamber. i supose i got lucky and they got threw the exhaust valves and exited without any damage. i was cleary blessed

Personally, I stick to OEM plugs. They work fine and don't mess anything up.

that is crazy.. i always have stuck to ngk on ALL of my cars.. not just the hondas. i wish i had taken pics of the FACTORY ngk's that i just pulled out of my girls integra, 118K miles and they were worn brown like any other spark plug.. 1 was covered in oil due to valve cover o rings but nothing like that.. just wow

Spark plugs like these ones are all scams. I don't care how many ground electrodes it has, electricity is always taking the shortest path to ground. The spark is not going to jump to all 3 corners, it's lazy and wants to get back to ground the easiest way possible.

wow i figured you were going to say it became clogged with oil or sludge but damn that is brutal.

keep with the 1 prong spark plugs. they are the best.
