Any advice, i wanna buy this cheap vigor which has had the head gasket done a few months ago but is now apparently leaking under carburetor? seals apparently?

Its a 1800 carb done 221,000k's

Should i walk away or is it a relatively easy fix?

I know this is completely off topic but by any chance do you know where I could find a 86-89 vigor decklid?

The Vigor is essentially an up market version of the Accord, so Accord parts will work for you. Gasket and vacuum leaks were the down fall of these carb'ed cars. If you can source a rebuild kit for a similar year Accord you should be in good shape.

It loses water fast, im just not shure if it worth trying to fix..maybe its more serious than a gasket?

Hard to tell. Where is the water going? It could be as simple as a hose that needs replacing. Investigation is needed.

There are a few hoses under the carb.

This should be an easy fix. I doubt the head gasket can cause a big leak.

Im not shure about the leak havent seen car yet as its out of my town, was just told that its leaking water under carb and that its the seals? and can only be driven for 15mins, if the guy has cooked the engine by overheating it i wont bother :D

I have brought the car, am yet to investigate leak! cant find anything on google or in the repair manual about carburetor gaskets/leaks? the car had the head gasket done 3months ago...guy reckons u can only drive for 30mins, which tells me hes probably overheated the car and probably F" that new head gasket?
