So i am cruising up to this redlight today. I see a diesel pickup truck, with heavy modification. One of those "diesel bullies". This guy is revving the engine blowing black smoke everywhere, just being a complete deuchbag. I notice a current-gen Accord Sedan to his right, so I pull up to his left, on this 3-lane road. The opposite light turns orange, he revs his engine up to a certain rpm, and holds it (probably about 3.0K).

I didn't bother launching, we're on public streets mind you. Light turns green, we all go. Naturally, the pickup jumps out front, with the Accord right behind him, then me. He had me beat up through 1st gear, beginning of 2nd. By 3rd gear, I was already at his door, and pulling. By the end of 3rd, I look over and see the Accord in the right lane, I have about half a car length on him. The pickup is at the Accords bumper.

At this point, the Accord backs off, I keep going, until I hit 5th. At which time, the pickup was a good 5-6 car lengths back. Needless to say, he felt like a fool. 9mpg-V8 and STILL slower than a 4-Cyl!

hehe.

it does depend though...it's like this- a otherwise bone stock 96-00 hatchback with an intake and exhaust might sound like it could do some damage to the uninitiated, but in all reality it's probably a 16 second car. take that same hatch, but a cammed k20/24, and suddenly the car that sounded badass IS badass.

same with diesel trucks. i've seen them blow smoke and have stacks or exhaust and run 16's....and trucks that look exactly the same and do the same theatrics run 12's, with no other visual cues as to the performance potential.

I love video games, and I really get into them when I play them. However, I can just as easily forget about and live without gaming. I think I'd die without sex.

I used to be addicted to WoW and my GF used to do the deed for me while I played it was probably the best of both worlds. She was trying to get me to stop with sex but basically I just would get sex and games at the same time. Worked well for me.

Well tomorrow I will be putting a deposit on a 09 Si sedan in Polished Metal Metallic and picking it up on Wednesday... I'm pretty stoked but I'm gonna need to lose some weight as my 6'4" 250lb body seems to be tight in the bolsters...

And on the up and up I got my Forza 3 to play last night haha turns out I can't stand my 360 up anymore... Some tracks still won't read from disk... Might do the ol rent one and swap em trick haha

i know that. i beat a 2500 hd with intake and a chip, with just my dcrh. it was pretty sad to be honest. and i had a passenger and the guy in the truck was alone.

i never stand my xbox up. it lays down. all my friends that stand it up end up having scratched disks within a short time. its something about the mechanism that spins the disk. maybe when you stand it up, it loosens from vibration over time or something, idk. just a guess.

on a serious note, the bolsters will "break-in". it's like that purposely, so they can accomodate anyone who might buy a civic, from the old lady to young girl to big guy...whomever. the bigger the person, the longer it will take to break-in.

haha same. im 6'2" ~ 190lbs and I fit almost perfectly in my FG2. I have the same problem with the sunroof but only if Im sitting like straight up.
