On my 09' Accord, sometimes if I don't turn the ignition key fully and hold it for a split second, it doesn't start when it is cold. But, it usually starts on the very next try. I don't know whether that is the same as what you are experiencing though.

Thanks redbull-1 for your insight.
Do you guys think that it could be a weak battery? The car is only 1 year old! How many years does a typical battery perform optimally? |

Batteries can fail in less than 1 year. Yours may still be under factory warranty.
