Default Which motor mount?

I searched but didnt find much on inserts. I need new motor mounts but don't have an extra $300 for good ones. Do you recommend I bother with prothane or energy suspension inserts? Which one? Thanks

Called window weld from autozone, I'd suggest innovative if you can find a company that has them in stock, or else you will wait for ever for them. Hasport also has some sick deals going on because of the economy being so poor.

Interesting. How well does this window weld work? It sounds a little ghetto. These are going on a fully built and sleeved DC2 so Im not trying to go too cheap lol. Where have you seen goos Hasport deals?

I did this because i was in a hurry to finish up my build and didn't have time to wait for mounts before my tuning appointment. That was in June. I had plans of buying different mounts but i don't see a need now. Search around the window weld is pretty common. Btw this is on a 400 hp build.

Window weld or inserst all work fine... with the inserts though you have to be sure the stock mount is intact... if it's torn it will make it vibrate like a bastard.

Also ensure to retorque the engine mounts in the proper sequence... this can also cause bad vibration issues.

I have the ES Inserts and have for 3 years... they're great.

I just ordered some energy suspension inserts for all the mounts and they look good, hopefully they will work okay.

Cool. Thanks for the advice, I'll probably just go with some inserts
