There is like 4 screws or so.. Then it slides up and over, or down and over.. There will be some wires with regular push clips and its out.. Real easy fix.. Like 5 min
EDIT:: I can take pics later if I still need to, buts its self-explainitory if you just look @ it.. |

Once you get the covers off, disconnect the electrical connector, 2 Philips screws hold it on.

It comes apart, just remove the two phillips screws. It's because the part you have looks like a used part that has both switches.

Can you take a picture and post your steering wheel area, so I can see if they are even the same part for your car? The part you show may be for a different year.

The replacement part you have doesn't look the same as the ones for a 5th gen Accord, as listed on Ebay.
I no longer own a 5th gen Accord, so I can't go out to the garage and see. |

that piece doesnt come apart when u take off the screws, its all a single piece except for the part where the wires with clips connect to. so does that mean i have to take off the steering wheel? cuz the guy that took off the part i bought removed the steering wheel to get it out. i just dont know how.

The url link you posted, which is this picture doesn't look like the other ones from ebay.
What are the urls to the pictures of your steering wheel? (To attach pics, you can also attach the files, which are part of the 'Additional Options'. Also, does your car have an air bag in the steering wheel? |

Okay, that one is the same. It should just pull out after you remove the two screws.
I wouldn't remove the whole steering wheel just to replace the switch. Try wiggling the switch part at the base a bit to see if it will come out. |

Great! Glad you replaced it. If you would have taken off the steering wheel, you would have made alot of work for yourself; so, I'm glad it didn't come to that. I would of helped you with that; but, didn't want you to go that route.
