Default Possible Noob question on Uego

Is a Uego wideband o2 used for tuning only, or once you get it tuned you hook the stock o2 up to a narrow band? I hear the bosch o2 sensors that come with the uegos burn out substantially faster and because of this I am told to hook up the original o2 post tuning. Retarded or actually a good idea?

if you want to be able to see your a/f ratio at all times then you would need to leave it in if you dont care to monitor afr then you can swap back to narrowband, make sure to run the car in closed loop.

if you already own the wideband then run it. new sensors are just part of the game, ive never used aem but my plx has been going strong for over 2 years

wideband sensors burn out faster just like any other o2 sensor when running leaded fuels. unleaded fuels it should last a long time. Ive got a 4 year old aem that i tune with that was in my car for two years and its only on its second sensor. and it works great. in comparison to my innovate lc-1 its .1 different reading. the innovate lc-1 is less than a year old
