I would get a different BOV. They are way to inexpensive to be f*&kin around with them. When you say its fluttering 0-4 do you mean while your accelerating or when you let of the gas?

Eh hem...

do you want to save 150-200 bucks now so you can cost yourself a new turbo in a couple weeks/months/already?

slow96lude it does it when i accelerate. if i take the piston outta the bov until i get a new bov and boost just at wastegate spring (4 psi) will that be ok?

Make sure your lines are hooked up right with the MBC, that can cause issues with boost creep, fluttering. Also, hook up the bov to it's own line off the intake manifold, and see if that helps.

^^ i had my BOV teed in to my pcv on the intake mani and i was getting compressor surge but once i gave my bov its own source off the intake mani it was good to go.

so to the OP. i would take your BOV line off the vacuum block and give it a dedicated source from your intake mani and try that instead of cutting it up.

ok ill give that a try tonight / tomarrow. should i just drill and tap a new hole on the intake mani? ive got the boost turned down to w.g spring now, which is 4 psi. and i try to stay outta boost as much as possiable. figure that wont kill the turbo as fast at 10 psi.

there is something more than the bov wrong here. It shouldnt be fluttering from 0-4 psi while accelerating. There are two other possible scenerios here. One the wastegate is toast and keeps opening up. two you have a boost leak in your piping.. the only other problem would be the bov not closing right.

I thought of another thing that could be possible. The vacumm reference isnt any good. I.E. the clamps or something on the vac block arent tight.
