Looks nice. But it looks like the head and the vavle body don't have any space to let cool air in aroud the top. Like the tials do. Maybe its just .me... what do these things cost?

So is TiAL making them for Precision? I like that part about the 5-angle valve job! LOL. . .

Very interesting. If you look at a picture of a Tial 44 and this 46 they body looks identical to the tial except for the logo obviously. When I saw the picture, I was thinking that Tial was the original mfg. Guess we'll have to wait and see what they say. Looks good.

Tial casting looks cleaner..I dont' see tial making it, especially @ The price they are selling for...thats not much more than dealer price on 44's for a product that is advertised as "superior" ...

Well, that would be pretty similar to what Precision does with Garrett turbos, right?

Interesting, had not seen anything on these until now.

So far I have had no problems with my v44 to cause me to want to use anything else, so I have no real useful input otherwise.

Nuh uh Jake, they have matte black tops! Jeeeez. . . .

Maybe you guys ought to start using a Serdi machine for your valve seats now so you could show how "yesterday" 5-angle valve seats really are!

LOL. . .

So anyway, does anyone know where these are being manufactured?

as we all know precision does not stand behind any of their products, so I don't see this outselling Tial for long... if a diaphragm ripped after one dyno test they will blame it on the customer or the dyno operator...check out their history.

Everyone has a story and alot of them have 2 sides. The other side to your statement is how many countless people including myself (who I have had 3 different Precision turbos without an issue) who have had very good support from Precision on their product. I can think of probably a dozen Precision turbos locally of people whom I talk to regularly... Precision has been more than helpful with any of them. No problems, good support. Agian myself included.

Might wanna reserve judgement on this or on Precision as a whole being made so quickly because of some disgruntled peoples online postings. Some probably have good reason to bitch as its not a perfect world and shit does happen, but in the same token many can be found with some fault of their own in the end as well.

Why dont we keep this on the topic of the product at hand and let this be a technical post to see how people like the wastegate, how it performs, specs, spring choices, and whatever else as it makes its way into consumer hands.

Why is it a big deal to post the msrp? I understand not having companies trying to sell stuff on tech forums but everyone is curious the estimated price.

And for those that would like to upgrade from the Tial 44mm, this one (46mm) it will bolt on the 44mm flange
