The Full HFP Grey Coupe looks pretty good. I'm wondering, though, if by the time you add all the HFP stuff that a buyer doesn't wonder if he shouldn't be buying an Acura.

After you add all the HFP stuff, aren't you up around, what, $37K ?

My thoughts exactly, especially because you know the dealer gets you good at full list for all the accessories (Plus install) and does not give you credit for things like the wheels and tires that come off... That's how I got my 18" 09 Coupe rims, dealer upgraded someones rims, charged them full price then made money selling the take offs.

I know how they work first hand I sold new hondas for awhile... I guess that's why they call them the "stealer"!!!

Well, that makes it sound like a much better choice than I was afraid it'd be!

Thanks for telling us.

Indeed, we were about 28 OTD for a 6-6... no extra body work add ons, thank god. that's clearly a shorter market level than that tl type s and we coupers do not have to haul around an extra set of doors or the extra weight. I wonder why Acura doesn't have a two door model... ZDX?

A little off subject but I still don't get HFP it should be (for the most part) Honda Factory Cosmetic Performance... I mean I use to have a Mustang GT and Ford Motorsports had PERFORMANCE parts for their cars, Built Engines, Superchargers, Manifolds, Differentials, ect. And many did not effect Factory Warranty!!!

Honda knows there is a huge aftermarket performance market for their cars, people know and trust honda quality and they have a racing division... I would feel myself like a honda factory performance part would work right and not have issues that can occur with other brand aftermarket parts... Seems like a missed market. Just my 2 cents.

^ that's not Honda's internal philosophy... regardless of the market loyalty and want for such services. You must be a legitimate track whore to get access to Honda FACTORY parts... it is possible to get them, but you need to be tenured with some track credentials

Okay, that's it: I give up. I am lowering my car again.

If I don't buy a G8 HFP Coupe. Or a TL-S. :-)
