You are looking for a product that is now 20 years old, and not something people usually replace.
My suggestion would be to contact an aftermarket sunroof group and see if they have something that would work.

Yeah, I think Honda is only required to go back like XX number of years, now it *may* benefit you to call Honda to see if they can find one. The "Classics" section has guys doing rebuilds and buying brand new OEM quarter panels for Civics from dealerships.
So there's a chance, but 20 years old for a rubber strip may be pushing it.

Check the drain tubes to make sure they are not plugged. Honda may still carry them; but, even if they did they will cost an arm and a leg. Look under sliding roof.
http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com/...artsSearch.jsp Your best bet if you need the seals, is to go with TheMuffinMan's initial suggestion to contact an aftermarket sunroof installer. |

I know, it happens to me all the time. Usually, it's GhostAccord that beats me out.
Check the drain tubes first. |

thanks for the help guys cheers. i did blow compressed air/and ran a thin wire in the tubes and they seemed fine i might remove the headliner for a visual check.
i can see on the top of the sunroof that theres a small gap in the center towards the rear where water may get in. reason i may need a new seal. thats a nice site wonder why it didnt come up in google. cheers chris |

Yeah, I believe the 89 is 3rd gen (Wikipedia actually has that info down pretty well)
If I recall most guys do B series swaps in them due to the engine bay size - however they don't sell those mounting kits in mass amounts anymore.
