Few more pics. Trimmed some more, pre fit, did some nicer dremel work and a lot more trimming after these pics. Will work on brackets next.....

I built it! It is plastic, so yes, my certified co-worker did the plastic welds
After the final fit, and brackets are made, the whole thing will be trimmed in rubber.

You know I have looked, and I cant find anyone who has done this on there own before!

I am still throwing around idea's to insilate it. Maybe dynomat, maybe nothing, I will ahve to test it to see after it is finaled fit wise. I need to get one of those temp pens to do measurements before and after.

I appreciate it! I finally decided on what rubber to use as the trim around it to make it look "store bought"....the hood wiper cowl rubber off the crv! It is the exact same looking trim as the one on my friends trd 98 ttsupra, and his trd camry.

i use to see once in a glass/mirror/window shop,
they have those rubber seal gaskets that looks like
the ones on the window of a car or a door seal..?
then insulate the entire casing/housing with thermal pads...
(thermo tec,heat shield//??)

good luck!

just finished the c pillar bar. It has been in and functional for a while now, but i just pulled it, sanded and clear coated it, and reinstalled. I also tinted my front bumper reflectors. Replacing a section of the exaust on sunday to fix the crv double exaust pipe rattle.

Oh! I also just sanded my headlights down. 500-2000 grit, and polished. They look almost brand new!
