2003 Honda Odyssey remote start/alarm install help
I dont know why im having such a hard time with this install but its kicking my ***.
I have a 2003 Honda Odyssey EX. First problem im having is i can not find the DAMN lock and unlock wire( Green/red and Black/wht ) . This is what i've done to try to find it......
I took the door lock at the door panel off to make sure im looking for the right color wires, and sure enough it is. I then follow the loom from the door to the fender and then to the inside of the cab. I put one lead of the fluke to the green/red wire and then with the other lead i prob ever wire off the loom coming in from the fender and NO damn continuity AT all. I check every wire that was coming in from the driver door. Best part is i look in the loom between the door and the fender and there is no green/red or black/wht wire at all. Im lost in what to do.
Second thing is i said screw the door lock, ill do that another day. So i take the seering colum apart and there is no room for the ring off the bypass to wrap arounf the key cylinder.
Has anyone every done one that can pass some advice over this way?

Re: 2003 Honda Odyssey remote start/alarm install help
Its there. I did one about a month ago. Green plug with 6 wires. Test each wire while triggering the door locks. Also use a express kit for the bypass. Its will give a cleaner install.
Oyea, don't go for the sliding door one press to open from the remote. Its a pia to do!

thought i post this just incase someone in the furture runs into the same issue i just had. I got this off another forum. It seem like only the EX models are the only ones with it on the pass side. There is no 6 pin plug on the EX on the driver side.
