Nice memories.... ops:

It's necesary to say that one year before buying my car, I knew where will be his final look, so the mods always followed a very clan path, mainly import style, but in the light way. Proof of that is the photochop I did:

Now give me some time to continue posting my mods. If anyone want to speak me in Spanish, I´ll apreciate that. Cheers, and sorry for my english.

In that way before having my car I already had the suspensions and exhaust, This one comming from my mother's Rover 45.

Suspension: Coilovers D2Racing
Exhaust: SimoniRacing Titanium Gun

Once upon I had good handling and waiting for the rims (6 moths waiting to fabricate it) I step over to some esthetic mods. The rear wing comming from the English MG ZS 5 doors, white painted moldings and front grill delantera, black painted roof, and Accord Type-R Stlye DIY black headlights. Now the car become to looks better.

Painted stuff:

That is how it looks with the stuff installed:

Following the import style I continued making some sketches, as many people had the violet colour I discarded it. Now it's time for other colour combinations:

At this moment I spent a lot of time in mechanical forums and I buy my firts light mod, K&N panel filter and NGK plugs and wires

The red line indicates I was taking measures for the front end conversion.

Now its time for the Front-end conversion:

This is all the stuff I needed to convert my oldie front to a newer and sporty front end: headlights, hood, radiartor support and bumper (C-West).

This is the result of the firs day of work

The stuff in my garage:

1. First of all i take off the original hood and put over the new one, everything is OK, but when it comes to screwing the bonnet of their anchors do not match . Total outrage, resignation, my girlfriend making me crazy ( "is not to pretend that if the pieces are not of this car ... who is going ..."),
But in the end helped me a lot and with patience and a bit of pushing and pulling here and there I set 3 of the 4 screws so that leads me ticket now.

2. Problem with the box filter. The hood is on it so it sticks out the box. Will Be cut into sections and remove 1 or 2 cm to make it lower.

3.Problem with my radiator support, the bonnet has an anchor hook that comes up and hits the hood, so to take this out.

5. We remove the bumper without difficulty and when removing the headlights ..... Problem!, I can`t take out. I have to drop the fenders for a bit to separate them out and drop a bit also the crossbar which is mounted on our bumper. Then an image with the difference between the line of our headlamps and EK ones.

6. Now "attempt" to present the EK headlights but do not come in, of course. I still clogging with the crossbar so I take off at all, I realize I will have to cut some pieces to fit.

7. I present the new hood with the bumper to see how I should proceed, and here comes the biggest frustration, if put the bumper from the end of the bonnet and the headlights, I was very moved outward and does not follow the curve of the wheel. If I put the bumber where it should be, the hood stands as badboy look; things do not fit well. No photo of this problem because I went slack and had my hands full of grease to hold the camera.

The only solution is to start by the bumper, bolted to the wings, like the original, and then go looking to put the support of the radiator and bonnet (more displaced backwards, as needed).

Well another day of work ends. Thus began the morning:

The "to do" of today is to remove the radiator support and try to place the lights, also begin to put the bumper.

1. After mid-morning, it seems impossible to remove it, it's amazing how hard it is to remove those damned welds.

Already in the afternoon and I have removed at least 20 welds damn, I have used all kinds of techniques: the first and best, with a kind of chisel and hammer, also one I've spent the radial machine directly, try to drill but there was no way. Needless to say the radiator support had end in a piece of ****.
Here is mounted photo and the new support almost ready:

And some more photos with headlights putted in:

Now we begin to work with the bumper. Just bolted to the fenders.

As can be seen in the following pictures and as I said yesterday, the bonnet and the bumper is not aligned:

To fix it will allow the bumper to fall a little in front (because they also are very high, as much or more than the standard) and put the hood back a bit.

Another problem that has arisen is that the bumper hits the irons well below what I had to cut a little

Lol, I'm happier today, after all morning giving the saw and hammer FINALLY! I managed to fit the bonnet and bumper.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k_UpM...e=channel_page

As I said, I had to do a few lanes to support the bonnet.

can also be observed that Extreme Diemensions that it is not free to come a little warped (the right of the grid that is more depressed left)

The next picture show me adjusting the grill to align the hood, it almost done.

And here after putting in the radiator support has also suffered a lot of the drop hammer to give good inclination and which serves to hold the bonnet and bumper.

It is becoming less and although the perfect fit is not possible for the magnitude of the project, and because the pieces are not Honda, I think it will be quite tight.

Here we can see the damage suffered by the car. also take the hole where the fender screw, screwing the black crossbar

and this is the problem that arises now that the hood is lower than the fenders. But I prefer it that not to fit the hood and bumper looks. I have not decided yet how to fix it, but I see two options: modify the fender or caulking to ramp up to the wing.

These include the introduction of the headlights.

After working a little on the placement and alignment with the bonnet and the bumper is time to present the fender

These are the pictures of my parking partner, Pontiac Firebird Trans-Am (KITT base):

Sweet, USA and Japan cars together in Europe

This is how the day started ....

Now we see the slaughter of sheet I had to do to make the headlights. Pictures of before and after modification.

One more in side face

And after working with the fenderand a hammer, pliers, remove, cut and put back 30 times .... the fender looks great with the shape of the headlight. Still be better with putty and sanded and adjust the chassis.

Using the modified fender, make a template and draw on the other.

And after another little job, that's how it is:

Well, today the day was a little bad, and I could not work much, I've basically dedicated to improving the coupling of the left fender, which was very light. I have already made it, and besides I had a moment of inspiration and that he had solved the problem before the hood was lower than the fender. Tomorrow I will also be the other fender. and submit the pictures.

it takes time to adjust as much as it does not eliminate a gap which I was very ugly underneath the headlights of a size of a fat finger, this tuning bumpers .....

New pics uploaded, Here am I doing the fender, after cutting it not to overhang out the hood

See here the result of my hard work sheet on the fender:

And one very important piece that I had forgotten to mount jajaja

Now a good grinding to make the putty grip.

It's time to shape !!!!! It dont looks very well because it is the first time that he did.

Another performance, I lost 3,5kg of weight in my body during the job. jajajaja

returning home was the big problem with the lights, there were too inclined and the lights doesnt lights anything, too fear on the road:

hi beam:
low beam:

Finally, after a bit scape from the police, I ccome to the bat-cave:

This may be the problem: the inner parable is fully lied down. fu**ing DEPO lights.

Solution: a nut and screw. with this I make an extra heigh regulator.

We tested the difference in lighting, I think that is obvious, what is fixed and what dont.

Still to do: refine the putty and the bumpers and fenders.

When I created the post I was thinking in posting un the Appearance build threads, but this is not only an appearance thread, this cointains/will contain engine swap, suspension, induction... anyway if the admins consider its wrong the will move it.

Here some appearance mods:

Link to DIY change the entire interior LED lighting fields + plasma dials.

RapidShare: Easy Filehosting

Althogh is in Spanish, it has a lot of pics that explains itself.

And the end result, with silver-gray trim, plasma dials, heater and switches in blue led:

More mods coming: DIY ICEBOX:

1. The first thing we must do is remove the resonator box( the process is the same in all civics) and all plastic and air pipes that guides the air to the box

2. Open the box and take out the filter. Marked with a marker for where we are going to cut:

3. cut a little to remove roughness, burrs and other unwanted things (if you want)

4. Next show off in the car:

5. Improved the air filter with a filter replacement. Personally I would bet on a K&N, this is wich I have and works wonderfully. If you leave the filter paper the filtrate will be poorer and more dirty because is easily exposed to the engine.

6. Cover, assembled and bolted to the rubber tubing.

And that's it. Job done. So I carry around 6 months and noticed much difference, both in pushing and sound, both nearly equal to a "whale *****" (I know because I have one now and I can talk about the differences).

POSSIBLE IMPROVEMENTS:
1. Well, like any SRI has the "handicap" of getting hot air from the engine bay, but that can be fixed by doing a heatsield or insolation.
2. You can replace the rubber tube by a stainless steel tube, improving the speed of the air.
3. We can use an air feed from the bumper to the engine bay using the original hole that used the resonator box. This way I have it.

Well. With all this we went to Madrid to GUINNESS meeting (500 Honda cars). Some photos of the occasion:

As I finished mounting the front of the car the morning of the meeting, it weren`t fixed too god. One can see that the bottom was wider than the above, this is because I did not have time to hold it very well.

And now the best photo that has my car: (Many thanks to the author, I think it was Wiros)
And the worst: the same day the bonnet openned on the road and the result was as follows, 400 € in parts and bodywork. And thanks for not giving us anything happened.

Then came other improvements, such as megan racing 4-2-1 exhaust manifold and front and rear strut bars. Thanks to Dani for the explanation of how to adapt using brute force the rear bar. jajaja.

And more improvements: Ebay test pipe + mid section Inox 60mm and Skunk2 Pro Plus front and rear camber kits. The front ones were not worth my car (my car uses the EG ones, not the Ek ones I bought) and came a little bent so we'll have to see if there for a day straight, and sell them because it's such a shame that this piece is getting dust around there

A little photo shoot of the car with and without the overlay lip unpainted or anything ...

- EG-Inegra Chasis
- Integra dash, seats, restarm....

Thats why is so funny.

And there is a version with the B18C4 engine: 1.800cc 170hp with LSD.
