Default Dodge Neon Radiator

I have heard several people say that we can use the Dodge Neon half radiator in our ef's, and they bolt right up.. I cannot find any info on google or on here.. Has anyone seen this done, and does anyone have any pictures of what they look like.

What year neons should I look for?
Will I have to custom make radiator hoses? (For B18B into EF)

I am just wondering if this is the easiest way to get a half radiator in my ef, to make as much room as possible when I go to turbo, thanks.

You want a 95-99 non-a/c neon radiator. You need a inline filler neck as the radiator doesn't have one.

Here are some pics of EJ1 Wilcox's setup:

We had to wipe the hose end down with rubbing alcohol to relax the rubber so we could get it on there.

The upper hose is from an integra. I cut two 45 degree angles out of it, instead of putting the filler neck straight out from the radiator. I think doing two 45s worked out better.

I have a Neon half size radiator in my race car. It fits great, saves a lot of space, and it functions quite well. Like it was mentioned above, you will need to use a filler neck with a pressure cap and do some custom fitting for the upper coolant hose.

any info on if the stock crx rad. fan will bolt up to it or will it need modified?
also where can you buy an inline filler neck?
also heard that the neon radiators suck, compared to the eg radiator is this true or just a bias opinion?

Del Sol Rad:

had to modify the lower rad support and the rad has to sit in a exact spot or the hood won't close.

Also using a 10" slim fan mounted on the front.

you could also use the civic half radiator. That way you wont have to get a filler neck. I'm sure it would be just as easy to source one from a junkyard as a neon.

im getting a new radiator anyway, not a junk yard one, also did you read any of this thread? the neon radiator sits a lot nicer than the eg radiator, also you dont have to modify the lower suport at all, i know about the eg half rad, but i like the way the neon one sits better.

Back from the dead with good info, I found the part number for this exact radiator if you really want to use it.
