Default The perfect 3" flange for the Apexi filter...Pics/Info inside

I used this flange about 6 months ago, but have received several PMs about it with not much information to give. So I took a little trip down to Home Depot to help u guys out.

It is...

NDS 4" Square Grate (used for outside drains).
NDS part#: 02
Home Depot part#: C 703-516

Just cut out the inner grating with a dremel tool, drill 4 corrisponding holes to the filter, and attach the filter with a 3" coupler. Its just that easy!

This is what mine looked like:

Yeah I found this in HW store too but decided I would just spend the few extra $$ on the universal 3" flange from Apexi

How much do they want for that flange?

Its hard to beat the price of $1.86 and 5 minutes with the dremel

I just went to homedepo last week and they didn't carry that part.

I got a pimp custom piece made to mount my filter with though.
