WE'VE RECEIVED REQUESTS TO PUSH THE MEET BACK DUE TO PEOPLE BEING OUT OF TOWN FOR HOLIDAY TRAVEL & PEOPLE WITH CARS THAT WILL NOT BE COMPLETED BY THAT TIME. IT HAS BEEN RESCHEDULED FOR JAN 25, 2009. SAME DEAL, DIFFERENT SUNDAY. SORRY FOR THE INCONVIENCE GUYS !

2009 NOLA HONDA-TECH Meet

MARK YOUR CALENDARS !

People will be getting ready to wrap up winter break for school and here's one of the last chances to relax with old friends, meet new people & have fun before the stress load from school. Come hang out with local HONDA enthusiast & represent the NOLA import scene. You have 4 months to prep so BRING your A GAME ! Westbank, NO East, NORTHSHORE, Metairie, BR & even MISSISIPPI enthusiast are invited & expected.

INFORMATION
WHERE: Lafreniere Park: 3000 Downs Blvd. Metairie, LA 70003
WHEN: Sunday January 25, 2009
TIME: 12pm - TIL

ATTIRE & CONDUCT

It will obviously be cold so DRESS accordingly. We also ask to please not ruin it for everyone by:

REVVVING
DOING BURNOUTS
BLASTING your sound
WOTing as you are entering / leaving
Bring DRAMA.

FOOD & DRINKS

TBD. This topic is open for discussion. FOOD, NO FOOD, HOOTERS ! We're open to suggestions.

Here's a gallery of pictures from HONDA-TECH meet 2007. We had people from BR & even MISSISSIPPI make it out. A decent turn-out considering it was ONLY promoted through HONDA-TECH.

Photographers will be there to document the event, cars, & attendees, so don't be camera shy. Remember people, we're here to relax & unwind, so don't be afraid have a little fun & smile for the camera. This meet is'nt just about the cars. It's about the people also.

We will also call & RESERVE a gazebo so people will be able to get out the sun, eat, & socialize with each other. We also plan on playing a game or two of football so if you're interested, bring your cleats & come get some !

Those plan on attending, add yourself.

So far, it looks like its gonna be a BIG event. We have 41 people planning to attend and it is NOT including friends & people who are'nt on the local forums.

Iam expecting a crowd / mob scene.

well now i definitely wont be in vegas now that i'm not scheduled to work and the meet has been pushed back even more. I hope our season doesnt start before this meet or even so if we have a game that day there at the park. If we do, that parking lot is gonna be packed cause we'll be out there early playing ball as well as many other teams.

but we trying to get a bigger turnout and just show the other guys from the local forums how to build a clean honda
give 'em some eyecandy

Yeah, i am probably going to be in the crappiest car out there. haha Hopefully i will at least have a full interior by then!

Yes, this time around, we decided to expand to the local forums.

The reason is to bring together people who share a common interest & just kick it. Of course we want to showcase the best NOLA has to offer & hopefully inspire everyone to build a quality, well-rounded HONDA, which is rare in the NOLA.

Awesome, hey guys i am the president of a car club in hattiesburg ms, so far we only have 14 members and 10 of us have honda's, we def will make an attempt to be there, are all you guys gonna rag on our NON-honda members? Or is it HONDA only?
