Default 2nd gen 1980 cvcc W/ B16 swap

here's the lill light rocket had the mini civic for 1 year and was doing a motor swap and didn't know what one to put in it i was ganna go with the ZC but said might as well go all out do the B16 SIR. had in the garage all preped ready for swap. just got the B16 motor trans.

Sweet!! got my new clutch and the new dizzy.

did more work on the mounts did all the weld and got some seal stuff.



ill post more later its getting late. i know there big pics but i dont know how to resize but you can see more detail.

yes its flux core and never had a prob with it the gas was out on my brothers welder and i have a time limit the welds are fine they are as strong as enything mig will do just gatta work a lill more lol.
the wiring ( 90 civic hatch all was ran then pined to the stock dash for the 80 cvcc very easy stuff fuel pump is off the 89 integra same Psi as the 92-95 civic axles are cut - resplined at a shop in portland OR, dont have them back yet this weekend doing the last of the wiring.


the VSS for the swap is in the stock cvcc cluster.

im still looking for some Honda rotas that are 14" gatta go with 14s thats as big it will let me go on the car it had 12" stock

15" will fit. I have 15" Mugen copy-cats on my '83 S.

This is all i have for the out side of civic ill do more pics of every thing befor paint and after. its going in for paint as soon as i finish the wiring for the dash should be sunday will be done with wiring its ganna be white stock color i wanna make it look stock but with a better c-v-cc motor the trac-bars are i gatta weld up still and put in the stiffer springs.


here is the under-car pic i can still lower the car 1/12 to fit the wheels and looks.

im sure the mounts are ganna hold up to alot with out gussets lol i hit them to try and adjust with a 2 1/2 lbs hammer and they will not move at all there stout as hell lol i reinforced the sheet metal around the mounts and did a notch in the frame on the trans mount. i also have the solid polyurethane mounts. but thank you for the help.

How are you using the 89 Integra fuel pump?

My '83 S uses an inline fuel pump; I'm sure your '80 uses the same style. Is the '89 Integra pump an inline?

If not, how are you going to mount it into the gas tank?

the 86-89 acura integra has the fuel pump out of the tank driver side under car and has the psi like the 90+ integra it will work the best for the Vtec this is what i use on the 84 civic w/ d16 SI swap worked great!

Nice project, I love old school honda's. I have a question, where is the alternator at I didn't see it in the pictures? It clears the frame?

sorry i forgot to post that the alt. is in the front i didn't want to bash the crap out of the frame so i made a bracket and extended the wires.
