changed headgasket, now the tranny shifts higher rpms
heys guys i recently just did the the headgasket in my eg, got everything taken apart and put back together but now im noticing the rpms climbing higher than the used to before it shifts gears. I took the intake manifold off when i did the gasket so im thinkin maybe the overdrive cable that hooks to the throttle body might have gotten un adjusted.
my question is how do you know where to set it to so itsd back to factory? is there like a diagram or something to look at instead of just moving it and going for a drive? please HALP!!
thanks guys

Are you talking about your throttle cable?
Sounds more to me like a possible vacuum problem. That is if it's that much higher Rpms.
