Lamborghini Aventador is Actually a Disguised Civic

This Lamborghini Aventador is built on the chassis of a Honda Civic, and besides the obvious proportional differences, it looks pretty darn close to a Lambo!

Lambo Wanna-Be

There is no limit to what one can do with just the right amount of creativity. And some folks won't let a shortage of accessible Lamborghini Aventador get in the way of their dreams. As you can probably tell by reading the title of this slideshow, the automobile you're looking at started life as a Honda Civic.

Impressive Replica

This Honda Civic Lamborghini Aventador replica was spotted in the streets of Mumbai, India. This isn't the first time we've seen a modified Honda Civic from India. But this replica is truly an unbelievably impressive build. The craftsmanship, the attention to the smallest detail, and even a fully redone interior, no stone was unturned in trying to get the 2009 Civic frame to resemble the Lambo as closely as possible.

Completely Rebuilt

The shop responsible for this build is called Executive Mod Trendz or EMT for short. The Mumbai-based shop has apparently completely rebuilt the body, but the extent of the mechanical modifications is not known. Judging by the ride height, the stock Civic suspension likely remains.

Look at That Interior!

The interior still retains the bones of the Civic, but it's all been re-skinned with a tough of carbon fiber and a whole lot of orange leather to replicate the Aventador. The fact that both the Civic and the Lamborghini have small quarter windows in the front doors comes in handy!

Not Quite Legal!

Obviously, the Honda Civic is a 4-passenger car. But this replica only has 2 seats. This means that the car is left with a huge amount of trunk space. And no, there's no engine underneath the rear hatch, in case you were wondering! Amazingly, making structural modifications to vehicles is actually illegal in India. And driving such vehicles on public roads can lead to the car being seized by law enforcement!
