was on my way to work today and was moving off from a stop and the D light started to flash. no matter what i did the car remained in the Lowest gear and never changed up. It got so bad that i tried to move from a stand still again and even with my foot flat on the accelerator the car wouldnt move.

The car doesnt show any CEL just the "D" light flashes constantly and the car wouldnt rev higher than 4000 RPM.

I have been reading that some get this problem and it is the 3rd clutch Pressure switch.
Does this sound like my current problem?

Man oh man ! Does Toyota have a major PR headache after a local CHP officer and his family ate it in a brand new Lexus hybrid. Did you know you can't just shut off the key or throw the tranny into neutral ? Nope, it just barrels down the road at a 100+ MPH, while you wait to die. Toyota comes out and says it was the floor mats. Now we have reports that over 2000 people have had similar situations with their Prius, Camry, Highlanders, and Lexus cars. http://abcnews.go.com/Blotter/Runawa...ory?id=8980479
And they all have the asinine drive by wire system. Nice ! If you've ever had a computer crash, then you know what is possible with these new cars and their fancy software. Except they are really not that good. Now they can kill you. Sure glad I bought a manual. At least I can put the clutch in. But what do you do with an automatic ? Anyone try to shut it down with the engine and tranny fully engaged and accelerating ?

Ha HA, another design flaw on my Fit. Another joke on me, thanks Honda. I love being stranded. Well you see, the latch not completely closed on the rear and the Fit won't start. No problem, right ? Well, try getting jumper cables on the positive terminal. Not happening.

Without good contact with the grip, the car can't get enough juice to start. Now I've got the smaller gauge cables with the about the smallest handles you can buy, and dang if I could find a way to get a good connection for a jump start. The positive terminal is recessed down into a plastic case, too small to get any clamp in there. Stupidest thing you ever saw. Maybe there are some posts or terminals somewhere else on the car to hook up to, but there wasn't any mention of it in the manual. I am really getting sick of these new ideas and the nutty engineers who can't think things through. Retards.

I've looked on all my main sites I use to buy fit parts and no such luck on finding the bumper even better is if somebody could grab the part number so I can order from the local Jap. honda dealer down the road that would be great. I uploaded a pic of the bumper I'm talking about.
