with so much into my car and owning it outright .. and more miles put on it everyday, I'm looking into selling it and getting something newer, with less miles, and cheaper. Only looking to spend $10,000 maybe a little more. Would prefer something with around 20k miles. I'm sure this may be a lot to ask. But any suggestions?

Not looking for speed or anything, just a decent daily driver that's good on gas and not ugly as hell.

Hoping to sell the M3 for $25,000 ... 470-540rwhp 2002 Supercharged M3 with almost 90,000 miles on it.

Thoughts?

How much does a gallon of body fat weigh?

Been gettin my fat ass to the gym for the past month and have been seeing substantial results. One of my bud's been obsessed with losing his spare tire and I wanted to give him a perspective on how much fat he wants to lose.

I can visualize a pound of steak at the market and can also visualize a gallon of water. I know that a gallon of water weighs 8.35lbs but I would think that fat is a lot less dense than water. Maybe a gallon of fat is closer to 6 pounds or something. Anyways, he's lost 6 pounds from 187 to 181 in 3-4 weeks. But I know he's gained quite a bit of muscle as well. He probably lost 10 pounds of fat. Still need to do a body fat test but been slackin.

So does anyone know how much a gallon of body fat weighs?

Or up with interest rates!

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2009/1..._n_364999.html

NEW YORK — For Citibank credit card holders, there is one way to escape the bank's rate hikes currently under way: Meet a monthly spending requirement.

Those who meet the spending minimum – in some cases $750 a month – will be able to get a rebate on their total interest charges for that month. The rebate could cover some or all of the interest rate hike. Customers also need to make payments on time to qualify for the rebate.

Without giving specifics, Citi said the monthly spending requirements and interest rate hikes will vary depending on the cardholder's credit history.
About half of its customers will be able to erase 50 percent to 100 percent of their rate increases through the rebates. Citi said its rebates will be based on interest charges for an entire balance, not just monthly charges.

With 92 million credit cards in circulation last year, Citi was the second largest card issuer in the country, according to CreditCards.com. Chase was the largest with 119.4 million cards, and Bank of America was third with 80.2 million cards.

The change by Citi comes as the industry rushes to adjust to sweeping reforms to start in February that will limit when and how much card issuers can hike interest rates. In a statement, Citi said the actions were necessary given elevated losses from souring loans and "regulatory changes that eliminate repricing for that risk."

The bank also noted that "customers who do more business with us will have the most opportunity to reduce their rates." Of course, consumers could need to spend more than they otherwise would to qualify.
That's the case for Lindsey Pappas, a 25-year-old public relations professional in San Francisco. She received a letter from Citi Wednesday that her interest rate was being hiked to 19.99 percent, up from 14.99 percent.

I have a project for work and everyone is kinda stumped as to where to look. We need to have a few very professional looking maps to include in a sales memorandum. I have a budget of about $500-$1000 to find a program that can produce what we are looking for. Needs to be able to:

1. Produce professional looking maps with minimal distractions
2. Pinpoint certain address and mark them on the map
3. Be able to draw "zones" around the location points. What we need is a shaded circle that goes 10, 20, 30, etc miles out from the location point. We need to shade these circles different colors to highlight the different areas. There will be multiple location points on some maps so the circles must be able to overlap.

Does anyone work with a program like this or know of a program like this? Or can you point me to a website/forum that might be able to assist further? I searched "professional digital maps", "digital mapping software", and a couple other things in Google with nothing so far.

If anyone can help it would be MUCH appreciated.

PS - Google maps will NOT work.

Dad accused of killing son over sex abuse claim
Dad reportedly irate upon hearing son had sexual contact with toddler

HIGHLAND PARK, Mich. - A 37-year-old father irate over hearing his 15-year-old son had sexual contact with a 3-year-old girl made the teen strip at gunpoint, marched him to a vacant lot and shot him to death despite pleas from the boy and his mother, a relative said.

Michigan authorities filed a first-degree murder charge Wednesday against Jamar Pinkney Sr. in the shooting death Monday of Jamar Pinkney Jr. in the Detroit enclave of Highland Park.

Defense attorney Corbett O'Meara said prosecutors should consider evidence of the father's state of mind over the sex abuse report.

"If something were to happen that would cause a reasonable person to lose control of himself, that is something the prosecution would have to take into account," O'Meara said outside Highland Park District Court.

Tensions were high in the courtroom Wednesday as the handcuffed suspect was led into the room for the arraignment, which lasted less than a minute.

"No, No, No," one female relative cried before a police officer escorted her out.

‘Hard to deal with’
Judge Brigette Officer entered a not guilty plea for Pinkney, who's also charged with assault, and ordered him jailed without bond until a preliminary examination Dec. 1.

"This is something that's hard to deal with for all the parties concerned, including the police," police Chief Ted Caldwell said afterward. "Highland Park is a small city. These are people who have been members of the community for years."

Caldwell said the sexual misconduct allegation that led to the confrontation wasn't part of the police investigation.

The shooting happened Monday night in a vacant lot in the once-prosperous city of 16,000, where decay, abandonment, fires and demolition have eaten away at many of the sprawling homes. Highland Park recently exited years of state financial oversight.

Visitors built an impromptu memorial at the shooting site. Two votive candles sat amid 10 stuffed animals, including two white teddy bears with red hearts embroidered with, "I love you."

The boy's mother, Lazette Cherry, told the Detroit Free Press that her son told her he had improper sexual contact with the girl.

"I called and told his father. This isn't something you sweep under the rug," she said.

Cherry said the elder Pinkney arrived at the home with a gun, ordered his son to strip and marched him outside despite her protests.

"He got on his knees and begged, ‘No, Daddy, no,’ and he pulled the trigger," Cherry said.
