I've already searched and many of the reads were very old (2005-2006).

Its time to get a pair of seats. Car is a 98ex civic. Currently doing hpde's with the goal of turning it into a honda challenge car. Seats need to have the fancy FIA sticker. Car currently has a 4pt rollbar and will add harnesses w/seats. I plan to use an isaac link for hnr to start and move to either a hans or defnder.

I'm 6'1, 175-180lb, long legs, slender build. I also need something that offers good back support. The car is still sees some street use and will be driven to/from events.

I've really been looking at the OMP WRC's as well as the Racetech RT1000 & RT4000 line. Unfortunately though, there aren't too many places that I can go and try a seat out, so any input or vendor referrals is appreciated.

The National Sport Compact Racing Association will be hosting an exhibition Time Attack Demo at their season finale on December 4th, 5th and 6th 2009 at Palm Beach International Raceway. The Time Attack Demo will take place on Saturday, December 5th, 2009 and will feature some of the country's fastest time attack cars battling out to set the track record at Palm Beach International Raceway. This will be a small teaser of what the NSCRA will have in store for the 2010 season where they plan on having a full schedule of events at Palm Beach International Raceway. Chris Rado will be in attendance with his record setting Unlimited FWD Scion tC. If you haven't had a chance to see this machine in person, this is your chance! From the revolutionary front spoiler to the custom fabrication that has gone into the car, this Scion tC is not only groundbreaking but a work of art to look at. So make sure you head on over to Palm Beach International Raceway to witness history along with the world's fastest sport compacts battling it out on the drag strip, full car show, hot body contest and live mobile dyno.

Information: Incase relivent!
96 coupe, Gutted every drop of tar & usless sheet metal. 6pt chromoly roll cage.
K20z3 (not done yet)
Spring rates: 18k F / 12k R. As a starting point. Dont know dampers/coilovers Yet but whatever I get will be properly valved for those rates. CTR Sways
5-lug
Timeattack: Modified.... Street if Im sneaky. :)

Anyhow,
I plan on running Wilwood 4pot F. brake Calipers & I have a few questions on sizing and fitment. I would like to run 15s if possible, Im going to have my fenders pulled so essentially Id like to run 15x8.5's & possibly bigger later on wen i reach over the 320whp mark. Camber somewere around -3F / -1.5R give or take.

1.) Will a 15in rim clear the wilwood Calipers & Rotors (I have no idea the diamater of the rotors). :thud:

2.) Offset - Im sure ill have to run pretty high but id just like to know forsure. I need to clear the calipers.

3.) Whats the smallest Rims (15-16) but widest (8-9.5), that I can run while clearing the breaks & also no rubbing issues. Im just pulling my fenders no flares or cut outs. & also tire size.

4.) So while Im posting this I might as well take advantage... What kind of bushings are people using? I was looking at PIC kit, but it doesnt have spherical trailing arm bush, not a huge deal though.

Hi everyone,

I have been looking for sliding rails that will allow me to sit in my car without the roof scraping my helmet and came across low down rails. People have already told me that ebay and alike rails falls apart upon impact. Anyone have experiences with Buddy club one? Since Buddy Club is the original version is it stronger?

Currently I bolted my sparco directly onto a custom bracket which at the lowest setting my helmet already scraps the roof. So adding sparco rails on top of that won't work for me.

Thanks in advance.
