Is this where it should be??????

havent a baldy how to use this website but ill get used to it !

i currently have a black 1.4 civic hatchback, a honda tuner said it was one of the last batch made? wether he's right or not i dunno but anyway was looking to get a few bits a pieces for it to keep me happy! it pretty standard bar a full system, induction kit and springs. but looking into an h22a conversion or k20 in the near future.

but in the mean time im lookin to do a bit of work just to get a few more ponies from the engine! been looking at mini-me swaps and things like that but not too sure about them, wasnt meant to be a vtec shouldnt turn it into one!?

just a few basic things tho for now if anyone has any ideas? getting a exhaust manifold on friday. ano its a 14 so technically i should save my money for the new engine but no harm in doin abit in the mean time plus it can be sold anyway.

I have a 95 Honda Civic Ex. Coolant seems to be blowing out of the air intake nozzle that's located behind the passenger side headlight. I filled up the coolant reservior, drove about 50 miles (which went fine), let the car cool, and now the reservior is almost empty.

Any idea what could be happening?

I don't see any white smoke coming out of the tail pipe and at least the upper radiator hose seems fine. The pump seems to be working since the upper radiator hose is hot while the lower one is cool.

so i just did a b20b swap in to my hatch, the car already has a fule pump problem where the fule pump doesnt turn on when i turn the car on. but now when i drive and it warms up and after it is warmed up if i ever let it idle for any long amount of time the heater will be on but then start blowing cold air out then the car drives like ass, i press on the gass and it makes a cutting out sound and revs high but has to fight just to get to 25mph and will only run a little less like ass in 4th gear. also the temp gauge doesnt move at all just stays midway in between hot and cold. after about 5 minutes of driving like ass the car will die or drive fine but the check engine light will come on....so am i about to blow my engine? and how do you fix this?

I have a 1998 Civic CX and I want just a little more power from my stock D16Y7. I only want to spend like $150 or less at this point because I am saving for rims and tires. I have heard about relocating the intake temp. sensor away from the block to trick the ECU but what else? I was thinking about having my cam reground but I am unsure. Also, hopefully...after this December I will have access to a full machine shop. Including a 3 axis CNC vertical milling machine. Any Ideas?

I've been having some voltage issues with my '94 CX lately, and have traced it back to the voltage regulator in my year and a half old refub'd alternator. Rather than spending more $ to get another alternator, I'd rather find one at a local junkyard and swap the voltage regulator into mine. The junkyards close to here don't have too many import cars, and most that are there have been picked clean.

Basically I'm wondering what ones I have to choose from. I know OBD2 cars have a different plug, so those are out of the question. What about '88-'91 Civics or Integras? I don't think they have any older Integras there, but I'd like to know anyways. The reason I ask is because my friend has what he believes to be a 4th gen Civic alternator, and it appears to have the same circle plug connector. Unfortunately it is pretty corroded, so I'd rather find one in better condition anyways.
