Here's the problem - i have a jdm h22a in my ek with just bolt on's like hytech header & type s cams & euro r intake man. - jg edelbrock throttle body and Ive been playing around with my throttlebody now for a few days because it seems like i cant get the idleset screw just right - the more you open or tighten the screw it causes the idle to increase and its like there's a vacuum leak - (Idles up and down) - right now i've got it perfect but it idles at around 900-1000 RPM. Is this where it should be??????

havent a baldy how to use this website but ill get used to it !

i currently have a black 1.4 civic hatchback, a honda tuner said it was one of the last batch made? wether he's right or not i dunno but anyway was looking to get a few bits a pieces for it to keep me happy! it pretty standard bar a full system, induction kit and springs. but looking into an h22a conversion or k20 in the near future.

but in the mean time im lookin to do a bit of work just to get a few more ponies from the engine! been looking at mini-me swaps and things like that but not too sure about them, wasnt meant to be a vtec shouldnt turn it into one!?

just a few basic things tho for now if anyone has any ideas? getting a exhaust manifold on friday. ano its a 14 so technically i should save my money for the new engine but no harm in doin abit in the mean time plus it can be sold anyway.

I have been having trouble with my teggy at idle. Here are the symptoms. When I start the car up in the morning it runs great. It idles around 1500 rpms while it warms up. My usual trip is about 5-10 mins and it runs good. I turn the car off and let it sit for any amount of time under about a half hour. Usually to go run arrands or something. I get back in, start the car up and the idle is around 500 rpms or lower. This also occurs if I drive the car for an extended period of time. At a stop sign or light I come to a stop and the idle dips to 500 or less. There is no surging idle and as far as I can tell no backfiring but my exhaust is pretty quiet so the most I can hear would be a slight popping at deceleration in gear. Also every once in a while the car will shut off at a stop but it starts right back up. There isnt a misfire code being thrown for it or anything else relating to idle. It just seems once the car is warmed up it cant hold the idle.

So here is my question. I know that many problems start at the IAVC but can this be caused by the TPS, wiring to the sensor or a BAD IAVC, Dizzy?

If it is the Dizzy would it throw a code and would I need to replace the whole thing?

I am replacing the AEM filter because its pretty bad could this cause the problem?

Finally I am throwing a P1106 barometric pressure sensor code. Could this cause the problem?

Please I need some help with this because I am running out of ideas and I just want the car to run right.

with so much into my car and owning it outright .. and more miles put on it everyday, I'm looking into selling it and getting something newer, with less miles, and cheaper. Only looking to spend $10,000 maybe a little more. Would prefer something with around 20k miles. I'm sure this may be a lot to ask. But any suggestions?

Not looking for speed or anything, just a decent daily driver that's good on gas and not ugly as hell.

Hoping to sell the M3 for $25,000 ... 470-540rwhp 2002 Supercharged M3 with almost 90,000 miles on it.

Thoughts?
Ive read good things about the 1000cc from Injector Dynamics but havent heard much about the 750cc. Will they drop right in the intake manifold or is there modification needed to the stock cushions for the injectors. Anyone that has used these or has any info on them would be great as i have searched and come up with nothing. Thanks

Been gettin my fat ass to the gym for the past month and have been seeing substantial results. One of my bud's been obsessed with losing his spare tire and I wanted to give him a perspective on how much fat he wants to lose.

I can visualize a pound of steak at the market and can also visualize a gallon of water. I know that a gallon of water weighs 8.35lbs but I would think that fat is a lot less dense than water. Maybe a gallon of fat is closer to 6 pounds or something. Anyways, he's lost 6 pounds from 187 to 181 in 3-4 weeks. But I know he's gained quite a bit of muscle as well. He probably lost 10 pounds of fat. Still need to do a body fat test but been slackin.

So does anyone know how much a gallon of body fat weighs?
